Event we intended to go for was still preparing to commence only on the next day. Determined not to waste the day, we headed to the Expo on Nison's suggestion to survey the religious conferenc held there.
To much dismay, we reached Expo only to find out the actual conference starts at night and all attendees are still having workshops. Still not giving up, the team knew there were several other events going on in Expo as well, thus we tried our luck to look for conference and exhibition related ones.
We found this event;
- Home Décor Exhibition
The event was rather large scale with many exhibitors ranging from home furnitures to wedding services. At the end of the day, we completed 30 surveys and some rather good insights by the surveyees regarding exhibition waste managment. Serveral felt that the giving out of event flyers at the Expo entrance is at most times, not of use to them since they usually come all the way down to Expo not without any plans or prior decision to visit specific exhibitions. Through this, we thought it will be a strong point to convince events organizers how certain materials are when reduced, reused and recycle saves the Earth, but also ensures they are not poorly used.
