11th Meeting

Summary of meeting:Conduct survey day #2

As there were only 2 events happening that day, one of which was not suitable since it is strictly by invites only, we headed down to;

1. Raffles Convention Centre for the Aviation Outlook Asia 2008 (Convention)

Overall, the team only managed to complete 30 surveys. This came as a shocking set-back given last week's smooth surveying process.

Several reasons that I felt contributed to this was due to;

1. The convention was separated into firstly workshops and then only much later, the networking sessions.When we went down, all the delegates are attending workshops
2. The event is targeted at a relatively smaller group of some 350 industry professionals, as compared to last week's larger scale events.

Remarks: Therefore, as it is not noted in the event details online regarding the convention rundown, we learnt to do a thorough check on the next event as much as possible. Also, we learnt to be more flexible towards choosing events. Previously we narrowed down to those suitable ones that are happening on wednesdays(as this day is fixed as a FYP day), we felt it will be more productive to look for suitable ones on tuesdays as well. One downpoint will be that Shamela will have classes on tuesdays.
